How to easily clean the bottom of pans with baking soda

Has grease been accumulating and the bottom of your frying pan is filthy? Don’t worry, there’s no need to throw it away.

With baking soda, a splash of vinegar and a scouring pad, it will be incredibly shiny.

In everyday life, it is very common to forget to thoroughly clean the base of the pan.

What happens is that the fat accumulates and of course, one day we realize that the base of the pan has a horrible brown color.

As we’ve explained in previous posts, we try to clean without toxic products whenever possible.

For this reason, baking soda and vinegar are our great allies.

We explain how to easily clean the base of your pan:

  1. Wet the pan with hot water
  2. Sprinkle baking soda over the bottom of the pan until the entire surface is well covered.
  3. Add vinegar over the entire surface
  4. Let the baking soda and vinegar mixture sit for a few minutes.
  5. Grab an aluminum scouring pad and scrub thoroughly. It’ll take a few minutes, but the results are flawless.
