Lemon and Ginger in a Jar with Honey: The Secret No One Will Ever Tell You


Today, I’ve prepared a wonderful mixture for you. This preparation is particularly useful as winter approaches and the cold begins to set in. The cold, although harsh, is also an opportunity to strengthen our immune system, clear the airways, and cleanse the pharynx, larynx, and throat. To stay healthy, prepare this mixture and let’s discover the recipe together.


Step 1: Preparing the ingredients

Start by taking a large lemon. Wash it thoroughly in hot water, as we’ll be using the peel. Let it soak in hot water for 5 to 10 minutes. Meanwhile, let’s move on to the ginger. Take 150 grams of fresh ginger, peel it, and clean it well.

While the lemons are soaking, prepare the ginger. You can chop it finely or, as I’m doing today, blend it to get a very fine texture. Next, take 6 garlic cloves, cut them in half, and set aside.


Step 2: Preparing the lemons

After soaking for 10 minutes, remove the lemons from the hot water. Add a tablespoon of salt and a tablespoon of white vinegar. Mix well to thoroughly clean the lemons. Then, rinse them with cold water.

Cut the lemons in half, remove the seeds (as we won’t need them), and finely chop them. You can cut them into small pieces or, as I do, blend them for a finer texture.


Step 3: Mixing the ingredients

In a large bowl, add the chopped ginger, blended lemons, and halved garlic cloves. Then, add 150 grams of natural honey and 150 milliliters of water. Mix well until smooth.


Step 4: Sterilization and preservation

Take a 500 milliliter glass jar (well washed and sterilized in the microwave for 3 minutes). Pour the mixture into it. You will get exactly 500 milliliters of this vitamin-rich mixture.

Seal the jar and refrigerate for three days before using. This mixture can be stored in the refrigerator for several months without any problems.


How to consume this mixture?

Every morning, on an empty stomach, take one teaspoon of this preparation. Let it sit for 30 minutes before breakfast. For children, half a teaspoon is enough. Drink it with a little warm water to maximize its benefits.
